Join the Salt Lake Chinese Choir and combine your love for music with an exciting opportunity to practice Chinese in an authentic environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced singer, we welcome everyone who’s passionate about learning and singing.
Our rehearsals are conducted in Chinese, offering a full immersion experience. You’ll not only improve your singing skills but also dive into the rich history and stories behind the music. From contemporary Chinese choral pieces to popular music adaptations, our diverse repertoire will keep you engaged and inspired. Plus, with expert guidance and numerous performance opportunities, you’ll not only shine on stage but also build lasting friendships along the way.
What We Offer:
• Performances of contemporary Chinese choral works and popular music, plus exclusive pieces composed just for us by renowned composers
• Experience a wide range of accompaniment styles, from piano and traditional Chinese instruments to full orchestras
• Weekly rehearsals are not just practice—they’re a fun, stress-free way to improve your Chinese while making music with friends

Our Team:
• Conductor: Dr. Yu-Feng Huang (DMA in Choral Conducting, University of Utah)
• Pianist: Dr. Yuhuan Hsu (DMA in Piano Performance, University of Utah)
Requirements:
• 18 years or older, no prior singing experience needed—just enthusiasm to learn
• Willingness to participate in weekly rehearsals and performances
• Annual membership fee: $200 (installment plans available)
